The non-creepy cookie policy

Cookies, explained.

What we actually use

We use a small set of cookies and similar local storage to keep the site working — that's really it. We don't sell your data and we don't plaster the site with third-party trackers. Here's what's on:

  • Session cookie — remembers that you're logged in so you don't have to sign in every time you open the dashboard.
  • Theme preference — remembers if you chose the light or dark theme so we don't flash the wrong one at you on every page load.
  • Favorites — remembers which tools you starred so they show up in your Favorites tab.
  • Cookie consent — yes, the cookie that remembers you agreed to cookies. We know, it's a little absurd.

What we don't use

No advertising trackers. No third-party analytics tied to your identity. No data sold to brokers. If we ever add analytics, it'll be a privacy-respecting one (like Plausible) that doesn't even use cookies.

How to clear them

Standard browser stuff: open your browser settings, find "Cookies and site data", search for "tooltrack.pro", and clear. Heads up: clearing them will log you out and reset your favorites.
